Alan has developed a strong and extensive profile with 30 years in the food and beverage industry. He joined Outback Steakhouse in 2018 and is now a Managing Partner of Outback Tsuen Wan Plaza.

 

What attracted you to work at Outback?
Even though I joined Outback not long ago, I truly feel a connection between each team member, it’s for this reason that I call it a family. Not only do we help each other when facing difficulties but also share our happiness and work hand-in-hand to support each other. I have a strong sense of belonging to Outback and the teamwork keeps me highly motivated.

 

What does “No Rules, Just Right” philosophy mean to you personally?
Every customer has different requests and opinions on our food and services, which the Outback team is here to try our best to fulfill their needs and provide them with a satisfied and enjoyable dining experience. That’s my motto and the “No Rules, Just Right” philosophy of Outback.

 

How would you like to be remembered by customers?
I always remind myself and tell my members to treat customers as friends and carry a smile all the time, leaving them a friendly, warm and welcoming impression. Besides that, we hope our customers enjoy the cheerful and home-like ambiance we try to create with our passion and team spirit.

 

What is your favorite Outback menu dish?

The USDA Prime NY Strip is one of my favorite dishes from Outback! As an iconic steakhouse in Hong Kong, Outback takes pride in presenting food with high-quality ingredients. Taking the USDA Prime Strip as an example, the caramelized side would be the soul of the whole strip. Nonetheless, the Crispy Fried Mushrooms are my second pick. So crispy on the outside, while exceptionally soft and juicy on the inside. With just one bite, the rich layering of flavors bursts in your mouth. It is delicious!

 

 

What hobbies or special interests do you pursue in your leisure time?

I enjoy cooking in my leisure time! It’s satisfying and fulfilling when people find that what I make tastes good too!
